Description:
The Beretta 92FS is a full-size, short-recoil, semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger. It is one of the most iconic handguns in history, famously serving as the primary sidearm of the United States Armed Forces (designated as the M9) from 1985 until 2017. The signature cut-away slide reduces weight, aids in cooling, and virtually eliminates "stovepipe" malfunctions by providing a massive ejection port. Features a slide-mounted ambidextrous safety lever that safely decocks the hammer when engaged, allowing for a safe first shot in double-action mode. Constructed with a forged aircraft-grade aluminum alloy frame and a chrome-lined barrel for extreme durability and corrosion resistance. Includes a reversible magazine release and an external hammer. The "FS" designation indicates an enlarged hammer pin that fits into a groove in the slide to prevent the slide from flying backward in the event of a catastrophic failure. 9mm Luger
