This a very clean 1961 Pre-64 in 30-06. Everything is all orginal, bluing is very good, stock is very clean. There are some very small marks on the stock, but over all it's in excellent shape. I did have a reputable gunsmith scope the barrel and it is in great shape (see picture of invoice). I also had him steam out three small elongated dents that were under the bolt. He did a great job removing the dents. I also, had the factory trigger poundage (5 pounds) set to a more hunting type trigger at 3 pounds, The serial number on the bolt matches the serial number on the action. I'm not a FFL dealer. I'm an individual. I'm selling it because I have found a 30-06 Pre-64 closer to the year of my grandfather's Pre-64 (1951) model. I have not shot the rifle since I've owned it. I will have the gun shipped from a local gun shop to your gun dealer. So I'm not sure on shipping cost.If you have any questions feel free to contact me. I'll take money order or certified check.
