Description:
The Texas Rangers Colt Single Action Army (SAA) refers to both the historical firearms carried by the legendary law enforcement agency and the specific commemorative models produced by Colt to honor them. Historically, the 7.5" barrel in .45 Colt was the standard issue for Rangers beginning in 1875. In 1970, Colt released a limited run of 1,000 revolvers specifically to commemorate the Texas Rangers. The backstrap is engraved with "Texas Ranger". The left side of the barrel features the inscription "Texas Ranger Commemorative 'One Riot... One Ranger'". A Texas star medallion is present on the top of the backstrap. Includes a Texas Ranger Badge Crafted from a 1947 or 1948 Cinco Peso Silver Coin, a Tradition that Began in the 1960s. .45
