The HK USP .45 Auto with a 4.25-inch barrel is the full-sized "standard" variant of Heckler & Koch's Universal Self-loading Pistol. Developed for the American market and rigorous military testing, it is renowned for its "overbuilt" durability and mechanical recoil reduction system. "Hostile Environment" Finish with a one-piece machined steel slide is nitro-carburized to provide extreme resistance to corrosion and wear. Constructed from fiber-reinforced polymer with stainless steel inserts in high-stress areas. It includes an oversized trigger guard for use with gloves and a proprietary accessory rail. Engineered to meet stringent NATO standards, the USP is famous for maintaining function even after severe abuse. The combination of a match-grade barrel profile and a consistent lock-up makes it a highly accurate "duty-grade" firearm. .45
