Description:
28 inch round barrel, 5 shot box magazine. Front sight is a nickel silver pinned blade with half buckhorn sporting rear. Plain walnut forearm with matching straight grip buttstock fit with a crescent rifle buttplate. Barrel, magazine and lever show about 90% finish, the receiver shows about 80% finish with thinning areas turning brown. Hammer shows most of the color case hardened finish. Near excellent bore is bright and fairly shiny with strong rifling. Stocks have been freshened up having been lightly cleaned and having a coat of finish added now showing only light wear and handling marks. Manufactured in 1898.
