FINE ORIGINAL 1899 KRAG CARBINE, CARTOUCHED, #350XXX. A nice example that has a Correct “C” (carbine) marked rear sight with humped walnut forend. The1899 dated receiver is a mottled gray. The barrel blue has aged and softened to a mixture of very light blue and brown. The stock and handguard are fine showing light handling marks only. Tight action and excellent sharp bore. These correct carbines are getting very hard to find.
