This W&C Scott & Son side-by-side shotgun features engravings on the receiver, trigger guard, and break lever. Based on our research, with the serial number being in the 60,000 range, this shotgun was likely manufactured some time in the early 20th century. The right-hand barrel did have a dent that has been repaired. The owner has fired modern hunting loads through it frequently (ex. Winchester SuperX). The barrels are proof-marked by the Birmingham Proof House. The length of pull is 14 and 1/8th inches, with a 1 1/2 inch drop at comb and a 3 inch drop at the heel. The chokes are IC and MOD.
