The Smith & Wesson M&P 380 Shield EZ is a semi-automatic pistol purpose-built for users who prioritize ease of use, such as new shooters or individuals with limited hand strength. Released as part of the M2.0 family, it is specifically designed to be easy to rack, load, and clean. Core Specifications Caliber: .380 Auto. Capacity: 8+1 rounds (comes with two 8-round magazines). Action: Internal hammer-fired. Barrel Length: 3.68 inches. Weight: Approximately 18.5 oz empty. Dimensions: 6.7" overall length, 1.04" width, and ~5" height. Frame/Slide: Polymer frame with a stainless steel barrel and slide featuring an Armornite® corrosion-resistant finish. Key "EZ" Features Easy-to-Rack Slide: Designed with a light recoil spring and rear "wings" to allow for effortless manipulation compared to standard 9mm pistols. Easy-to-Load Magazine: Features load-assist tabs on the sides—similar to .22 caliber magazines—to help compress the spring during loading.
