Description:
Selling my shooter grade Sharps carbine. Only distractor is an old butt stoch chip repair. Appears to have been an old arsenal repair. Originally the repair was held in place with two old rusted neails. I had the replacement piece epoxied in place. Original bore, so not reliined. Great rifliing, a good shooter. Traces of original finsih remain. Both correct cartouches also remain.
I cannot find this serial number listed, butit fits into a 20 gun range that was originally issued to 10th Illinois Vol. Cav. in 1863 as paper cartridge gun.
I have reached the point in life that I just need to thin out some stuff.
I also have dies, molds, sizer, and brass as a side deal if you are interested.
