Unaltered Winchester 1892 in desirable 44 W.C.F. caliber.
S/N 354390 made in 1906.
Untouched original finishes remain in decent shape. There is fairly strong blue left on the mag tube and in a few protected areas, with remainder having taken on an even brownish blue throughout, but with no grotesque or "off" colors. There is some light corrosion/pitting on upper R hand side of receiver as shown.
The wood is solid, proud, and completely original, never sanded or refinished, showing light to moderate handling marks but no deep mars or cracks. Original crescent buttplate.
The 24" barrel has a very good, bright bore with distinct rifling throughout and no pitting.
Original sight package includes a small ivory bead Lyman front and Winchester 22 series rear w/ elevator.
