This Unfired, Anschutz 1517 series, chambered in .17 HMR, is a premium bolt action rifle built on the renowned Match 64 action. Users and reviewers report consistent sub-MOA accuracy (under 1 inch at 100 yards), with many groups measuring near 0.5 inches. The receiver is 12% heavier than previous designs to increase rigidity, and the locking surface has been enlarged by 15% for enhanced safety and stability. Barrel is a 23" cold hammer-forged, heavy match barrel with a blued finish. Standard 1:9" twist for optimal stabilization of 17-grain and 20-grain bullets. .17 HMR
