Referred to as a Browning B80 Upland Special 20 gauge 2 3/4 inch chamber with Invector chokes. This lightweight gun is an alloy receiver. The B80 Upland Special was only made from 1986-1988. The B-80, of course, was one of Beretta’s chief contributions to the Browning line, and the Upland Special 20 gauge was the best and brightest for its size. Weighing in at only 6 pounds 2 ounces and with a centre of gravity directly below the operating handle, this shotgun made for the best and fastest handling upland game shotguns ever. Length of pull on these upland guns is 13 3/4 inches from the center of the gold plated trigger to the end of the Pachmayr Browning recoil pad. Barrel is 22 inch Vent Rib, and it comes with its original Improved Cylinder Invector Choke tube, and Invectors and Winchokes are readily available. In the 1986 Browning catalog, the B-80 Upland Special was a distinct, "scarce" variant of the gas-operated B-80 line designed for quick handling in heavy cover. It differed from the standard B-80 primarily through its compact dimensions and traditional aesthetics. The Browning B-80 shotgun was manufactured in Portugal by Fabrique Nationale (FN) Herstal between 1981 and 1988. While assembled in Portugal, the internal components and parts were manufactured by Beretta in Italy, based on a collaborative design that utilized Beretta 302/303 gas-operated systems.
