Description:
This "Eastern Carbine" was produced in 1940, presumably just prior to the start of the war. These were made for, and defined the term "deer rifle." They are short, light, and agile for use in dense woods where action can get sudden and fleeting. This one is in good shape. The wood and metal may have a few scars, but the wood is sound, and the metal is good, and it has a really good bore. .30 WCF

Metal Condition: "Good. There are a number of fine scratches, and some ""blush"" rust. Estimated to have 50-60% of blue left.
Wood Condition: Good. Most of the finish remains but there are some scratches and dents.
