Remington Model 722 bolt action rifle with a 22 inch barrel and chambered in .244 REM. Rifle is topped off with a Redfield scope. Finish on the rifle is very good and shows the previous owner took very good care of this rifle. The 722 was the first truly modern centerfire rifle with the strongest bolt ever developed. Short action version of Model 721. Produced from 1948 until 1962. Approximately 117,751 units produced. .244 Remington
