VIRTUALLY NEW Colt Woodsman, Match Target, Third Variation Pistol, 234088-S, FB01551
Description:
Third Variation Colt Match Target pistol, circa 1968-69, with a 4.5" barrel having ramped patridge front sight and fully adjustable Elliason rear sight. Colt address and model on left side of barrel/frame. Caliber on left side of slide. Serial number on right side of frame. Vertically serrated front and backstrap. Fitted with wood grips, partially checkered, the left panel having a shallow thumb rest. Original magazine, no cutout for push button release, with a Colt/caliber marked floorplate. No box or accessories.
Condition:
Virtually NEW with 99++% high polish blue. No discernible handling marks on pistol or grips. Magazine with light insertional wear. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. A great third variation Match Target Woodsman with 4.5” barrel, virtually impossible to improve upon short of NIB!
