Description:
An absolute gem of a gun, built in 1942 with 28" barrels, splinter forend. Casehardened boxlock receiver is beautifully engraved as seen in the photos. Gun built with double triggers, auto ejectors, and auto safety. Beautifully figured capped pistol buttstock which terminates with its original lined horn buttplate. Gun built with original 2-3/4" chambers.
This gun remains in spectacular original condition. Metal surfaces with 97-99% bold original finishes. Case colors are bold and vivid throughout. Stocks are sound with original finishes and crisp checkering. This gun has been fired but very very sparingly! Bores are brilliant. Mechanics are perfect.
This gun will letter as found today and is an absolute gem for condition and originality of a later production gun. I would put this gun up against anything Fox made in Philly for quality and condition! It must be seen to be appreciated. This gun is priced at $19,950 plus shipping to your FFL.
