Description:
Offered for sale is a Remington 760 five diamond deluxe in a BDL grade chambered in 30-06. This is the rarest variation of the 30-06 caliber as only 429 were produced. A normal five diamond was the ADL model and for extra money a BDL grade could be ordered with XX wood, a high polish finish on the wood, and the grade was engraved on the receiver with a BDL designation after the 760 gamemaster mark. Condition is good, I would rate it 85% with some varnish lost on the stocks and some various dings from hunting. The blueing is pretty good with some wear on the tube and slide rails. Magazine stamped 30-06 and correct to this gun. Date code is BZZ which puts it at January of 1953, I believe this was probably one of the very first ones made as these became available in 1953.
