Guns Listing ID: 643260

MAUSER-6.35(.25 ACP) MODEL 1910, NICKEL, 1 MAGAZINE- 8 ROUNDS, 3.3 \" BARREL. THIS PISTOL IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, NO SIGNS OF RUST OR PITTING.

The Mauser 1910/14 series consists of high-quality, German-made direct blowback pocket pistols, primarily chambered in .25 ACP (1910) or .32 ACP (1914). Known for reliability, an 8-round capacity, and a unique automatic slide-hold-open feature, over a million were produced for commercial and police use.

Reviews and Insights:
**Design & Ergonomics: The pistol is considered a very well-made \"hideout\" or pocket gun, featuring a comfortable grip angle. Early \"humpback\" models (1914) were later replaced by more ergonomic sloped grips (1934).
**Functionality: It is noted for an ingenious safety mechanism: pushing a small button below the safety lever unlocks it. The slide does not have a traditional manual release; it only closes when a magazine is inserted.
**Performance: It is described as a good shooter with manageable recoil, making it quite accurate for its size and era. However, due to its age, replacing springs is often required for reliable operation.
Collector Status: These are widely considered excellent, durable pocket pistols of the WWI and WWII era, with many variations and Nazi-marked models available for collectors.
