The Smith & Wesson Performance Center Model 686-6 Competitor is a high performance, medium-frame revolver chambered in .357 Magnum and .38 Special +P. It is specifically engineered for competition shooting and precision target work, featuring a distinctive weighted barrel system that allows shooters to customize the firearm's balance. Adjustable Barrel Weights allows for a unique under-lug system contains five removable weighted inserts, enabling you to fine-tune the "heft" to reduce muzzle rise and recoil. The Tuned Action features a Performance Center-tuned action for a smooth double-action and a crisp single-action trigger pull. The Chrome Components includes a chrome hammer and a chrome trigger equipped with a trigger stop to eliminate overtravel. .357 Magnum
