Description:
18 inch barrel with a good bore showing light oxidation and thin rifling. The metal surfaces are an overall gray-brown with scattered specks, light handling marks, and high edge wear. The smooth hardwood stock is very good with just light handling marks and some finish loss likely due to some sort of cleaner. The original sights are intact. The rifle needs some adjustment as there is no safe when cocked. The first model was only made for about one year. An overall nice example of an early gun manufactured by Atlas before Meriden Arms took over production.
