Description:
24 inch octagon barrel. This gun features a bead front sight and sporting rear sight. Bore is rough but shows strong rifling. The barrel retains about half of the original blue. The balance is a mix of smoky gray and brown with edge wear and handling marks. The receiver has toned to gray with light wear. The smooth walnut pistolgrip buttstock has been cleaned, varnished, and repaired. There is good repair of both sides of the upper tang. The infamous “Bullseye” is present. Grooved hard rubber buttplate is very good. The grooved corn cob forend has also been cleaned and varnished. Looks good. Mechanics are good but the take down button needs some work as it doesn't release the receiver cover.
