Description:
The Taurus 17 Tracker is a medium frame, double-action/single-action (DA/SA) revolver specifically chambered for the high-velocity .17 HMR cartridge. Known for its precision and rugged "Tracker" series heritage, this model is designed for small game hunting, varmint control, and accurate target shooting. The 6.5-inch barrel features a full underlug and a ventilated rib, which helps dissipate heat and adds weight to the front to virtually eliminate the already minimal recoil of the .17 HMR. The minimal recoil and high accuracy make it an excellent transition gun for shooters moving from basic .22 LR to more powerful platforms.
