Built on the proven Remington Model 700, the 700 Sendero® SF II Bolt-Action Rifle has all the features you need for big game hunting at long range, as well as precision long-range shooting. At the heart of the 700 Sendero SF (Stainless Fluted) II is the famous Model 700 action that has been proven for accuracy and reliability with the U.S. Army's M24 sniper rifle. The Sendero SF II utilizes a 26", heavy contour stainless steel barrel with 6 longitudinal flutes for increased structural rigidity with less weight over a non-fluted barrel, and increased heat dissipation. The muzzle has a concave target-style crown for enhanced accuracy. An Aramid fiber reinforced composite stock, from H-S Precision®, features full-length aluminum bedding blocks for consistent shot placement—regardless of changes in the weather. Dual sling swivel studs on the fore-end allow the user to attach a bipod and sling at the same time. An externally adjustable X-Mark Pro trigger lets you find the desired pull according to preference. The 2-position safety allows the weapon to be loaded and unloaded with the safety engaged.
