*SALE PENDING* Extremely rare, U.S. government "reject" or "buy back" D.F.C. inspected nickel plated ivory gripped .45 cal. revolver with a John Kopec gold seal letter. This is one of the very few guns in this serial range that were factory nickel plated and sold through a civilian outlet, according to the Kopec letter. Untouched and never altered in any way. Outstanding deep mellow patina original ivory stocks with very unusual swirl grain and coloration to the ivory, with NO repairs . (See pics). All markings are good, mechanics are very good as well, with an excellent bore with only minor frosting. All matching serial #'s. The barrel. cylinder and frame are so marked with the D.F.C. inspectors marks, along with a "P" on the barrel and cylinder. Please see pictures as they are part of the description as well. Very few guns got the gold seal Kopec letter of authentication such as this gun! First time this gun has been offered for sale.
