First introduced in 1950 for plainclothes and off-duty law enforcement, it remains one of the most iconic "snub-nose" revolvers in history. The modern "Classic" version typically features the 1.88-inch barrel and preserves the traditional all-steel design. The Model 36 is built for maximum concealability without sacrificing the durability of a carbon steel frame and cylinder.
