Description:
The Browning B-80 was a successful attempt by Browning to introduce a gas-operated autoloading shotgun. They actually enlisted Beretta in the design and the B-80 shares some of the internal parts with the Beretta 302/303. By all accounts, it was a successful collaboration, and paved the way into gas-operated autos for Browning. The most notable feature of theB-80 is the retained "hump-back" receiver. This may or may not have been intentional, but it did have the effect of appealing to Auto-5 owners, thereby NOT alienating pre-existing Browning owners. This shotgun has a 30-inch barrel and an eight-pound empty weight placing it in a Sporting (clays) weight class. It has a few handling marks but is in fine shape and would fit right in as a pass shooter for hunters, or a target gun for the Sporting Clays shooter, or a casual Clay target shooter. 12 Gauge
