Description:
The Mauser Model 660 is a bolt-action hunting rifle manufactured by Mauser in Oberndorf, West Germany. It is essentially the export designation for the Mauser Model 66 "Export" variant, specifically labeled as the 660 for the U.S. market by the importer Mauser-Bauer, Inc. between 1971 and 1973. The rifle is a "takedown" design, allowing users to switch barrels easily within the same bolt-face size. Unlike the classic Model 98, the two locking lugs lock directly into a barrel extension rather than the receiver. This rifle would be a great addition to any collection. .25-06 Remington
