Description:
Re-arsenaled US Army Remington Arms-UMC M1911 semiautomatic pistol chambered in .45 Automatic. Appears to have started life after the First World War as a leftover parts gun by Remington and subsequently refurbished by the Augusta Arsenal. The receiver serial number matches a Colt produced frame from 1918 and bears the "AA" stamp of Augusta Arsenal on the left side. Parkerized finish and plastic grips. Comes with a Second World War era "R" stamped (Risdon Tool & Machine Company) magazine. .45 Auto
