SMITH & WESSON PRE MODEL 24 .44 SPECIAL SERIAL NUMBER: S146592. BARREL: 6 ½". CALIBER: .44 Special. MANUFACTURED: 1956. Built on the five screw N-frame this awesome Pre Model 24 aka .44 Special Model of 1950 Target is equipped with a 6 ½" barrel, factory blue finish, checkered Goncalo Alves target stocks and full target accessories. CONDITION: The gun retains 99%+ of the factory refinish which was completed March 1976 per the service department markings on the left grip frame and cylinder face. Overall the gun presents fabulously and only upon the closest inspection can you see any signs of restoration. The bore and cylinder chambers are mint and the mechanical working order appears to be flawless. .44 S&W Special
