Description:
Post-war Springfield M1 Garand chambered in .30-06 Springfield. This M1 garand features a 24" barrel and a blade front sight with protective sides, adjustable aperture rear sight, SA bolt "D28287-12SA / W10B", SA trigger group "D28290-14-SA", Sa-"11" safety, SA "C64008-3 SA" hammer, unmarked stamped trigger guard, and SA op rod "6535382 SA". The gas cylinder is a wide base with a beveled edge gas lock and a "NHC -NATIONAL HARDWARE CO" marked gas cylinder lock screw for late Springfield's. The stock set is a smooth 3 piece pistol grip hardwood buttstock with no identifiable markings. The barrel is stamped "SA D6535448 8 53 MD 35". The receiver is stamped "US RIFLE - CAL .30M1 - SPRINGFIELD ARMORY - 4356554. This Springfield M1 remains in good used surplus condition showing various stages of finish wear.
