The Remington 770 in .270 Win is a budget-focused, bolt-action hunting rifle introduced in 2007 (discontinued in 2019) as an upgraded successor to the 710, designed to be an affordable \"package gun\". It features a 22-inch carbon steel barrel, a synthetic stock, and a three-lug bolt with a 60-degree lift, usually bundled with a factory-mounted and bore-sighted 3-9x40mm scope.

Action & Performance: The 770 uses a detachable box magazine (4+1 capacity in .270) and is recognized for acceptable \"minute of angle\" (MOA) accuracy out of the box, making it suitable for deer hunting.
Design & Build: It utilizes a black synthetic stock with a raised cheekpiece, textured grips, and a rubber recoil pad. Some models were offered in camo finishes.
