"Serial no. 189500614 (importer). Manufactured circa 1911, chambered in 7.62x38R,4 ½"" round barrel. The bore is good with light frosting noted in the grooves while the rifling remains strong and well-defined. The revolver has been post-war refinished, giving it a clean, uniform appearance, with some thinning noted by the left grip. The M1895 Nagant is a unique gas-seal revolver design adopted by Imperial Russia and later used extensively by Soviet forces, known for its distinctive forward-moving cylinder system. The action indexes correctly with a tight lock-up and remains mechanically sound.
