"Serial no. 9289. Manufactured in 1944, chambered in 8mm,24"" round barrel. The bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. Serial numbers are matching. The rifle has been refurbished by Mitchell’s Mausers and remains in overall very good condition with a clean, uniform appearance. The “bcd/4" code indicates wartime production by Gustloff-Werke, one of the primary late-war K98 producers. The rifle has been equipped with a Lyman 57 SME receiver peep sight. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly. Includes bayonet & scabbard, leather bayonet frog, leather sling, dual leather ammo ouch, and field cleaning kit.
