"Serial no. 3290119. Manufactured circa 1943 by Saginaw Steering Gear Division, chambered in .30 Carbine,18"" round barrel marked “W." The bore is bright with light scattered areas of frosting while the rifling remains strong and well-defined. The carbine shows typical post-war characteristics and remains in overall very good condition. The stock exhibits handling impressions and has been treated with a coat of linseed oil, giving it a well-maintained appearance. Saginaw-produced carbines are notable among collectors due to their multiple production facilities and comparatively shorter production runs. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
