Description:
"SN: N190545. 1975 production, .357 Magnum with a 4"" barrel. Bore is very good. Double action service revolver with blue finish, checkered walnut grips, pinned & recessed. Finish shows wear with most of the blue present. Very good condition overall. This gun comes from the collection of retired Texas Ranger Ron C. Stewart and possibly issued to him during his time at the DPS Academy. Retired Texas Ranger Ron Charles Stewart was a highly regarded law enforcement officer who served with the Texas Rangers for over 14 years, with a career spanning from 1970 to 1995. Following his 1970 graduation from the DPS Academy, Stewart served as a Highway Patrolman and an undercover narcotics agent. He later served as a Texas Ranger from 1980 to 1993 in Central Texas and later in the ""Big Bend"" region until 1995. After retiring, he worked as a U.S. Marshal special deputy and was a certified firearms instructor. Born in 1945, he was also a U.S. Army veteran. The Texas Ranger Association Foundation recognized his service and career contributions.
