A cased H &H double Rook rifle in .300 Rook (.295 Rook). Excellent condition throughout. Perfect bores, tight action with everything working as it left the factory 120 years ago. Nitro proofed and built around 1915. It weighs 6 lbs. 8 oz. and has the heft and feel of a larger double. 26" barrels with neaTr 100% blue. One standing and two folding leafs marked for 50, 100 and 150 yards. Front sight is a full Ivory blade. The rib is engraved with the Holland and Holland name and the 98 New Bond St. London address. All of the action, guard and locks are engravedgg with tight floral scroll along with "Holland & Holland". There is no noticeable wear to the engraving. The brass and leather case is original with label and has been relined with Red Baise. There is a full set of accessories with a pair of H&H marked horn handled turnscrews and an H&H oil bottle. Rosewod/Brass cleaning rod, Horn pin bottle, wood patch container, Partial bottle of Hillas's lube and a period pull through in a leather pouch. It also comes with an original Kynoch 50 round box of ammo with 43 unfired rounds remaining . Included will also be a new set of reloading dies along with 40 Bertram brass cases.
