The Ruger 22/45 Mark III is a popular .22 LR rimfire pistol produced by Ruger between 2004 and 2016. It was designed specifically to serve as a low-cost trainer for 1911 owners, featuring a polymer grip frame that mimics the grip angle and control layout (magazine release, safety) of a classic M1911.
