Offered here for sale and just acquired is this very attractive Pre-64 classic Winchester Model 94 .30-30 carbine. SN 2221743 it was manufactured circa 1956.
That also confirms it is a true pre-1964 Winchester Model 94, which collectors shooting enthusiasts strongly prefer due to forged/machined parts and higher overall fit/finish.
It has a 20” barrel with shotgun style steel buttplate . The carbine is in fine condition overall as refinished with the stock given a pleasing appearance. All original finish on metal. Slight wear on barrel . The former owner removed a stud on the underside of buttstock as he did not need a sling swivel. Solid mechanically. Bore excellent.
It also comes with a Winchester factory box quite worn but comes with specimen.
This is the type of condition which should not prevent the shooting enthusiast from taking this into the field to enjoy. A good shooter / honest vintage carbine.
