Description:
The Remington Model 513-T "Matchmaster" is a dedicated target rifle designed for precision silhouette and competitive target shooting. Produced between 1940 and 1968, it was widely used for military marksmanship training during World War II and remained a staple of civilian shooting clubs for decades. 27-inch heavy target-weight, semi-floating barrel with a crowned muzzle. The extra length provides a long sight radius and helps stabilize the .22 LR bullet for extreme accuracy. Oversized American walnut target stock with a high comb, a wide "beavertail" fore-end for stable rested shooting, and a checkered steel buttplate. The 513-T is renowned for its ability to shoot "one-hole" groups at 50 yards with match-grade ammunition. Due to its heavy barrel and target stock, it is less suited for field carry and is primarily used for benchrest or prone position shooting .22 Long Rifle
