ANIB SMITH & WESSON S PREFIX MODEL 29-2 6.5" SERIAL NUMBER: S278804. BARREL: 6 1/2". CALIBER: .44 Magnum. MANUFACTURED: 1967. Built towards the tail end of S-prefix serial numbers this superb Model 29-2 is equipped with a 6 1/2" barrel, original bright blue finish and full target accessories including a dynamite set of bookend matched smooth Goncalo Alves target stocks. Note the mahogany clamshell case included is slightly later, though still appreciated. Overall a surprisingly difficult to find .44 Magnum variant in top shelf condition for an advanced collector. CONDITION: The gun is nearly AS-NEW in mahogany display case with an especially fine factory original bright blue finish. The bore and cylinder chambers are mint and the mechanical working order is flawless. .44 Magnum
