Vintage Firearms is pleased to offer a Smith & Wesson Model 681, also referred to as the Distinguished Service Magnum. Smith & Wesson needs little introduction, being one of the most enduring firearm manufacturers in the America. Their robust L-frame is known for its ruggedness, and the Model 681 is no exception. A duty focused service revolver designed for law enforcement which gets the job done without all the frills of the Model 686. This example, serial number ACL8657, manufactured in 1983 towards the beginning of Model 681 production. The stainless-steel finish is 98%+ overall and 4” barrel has a shiny mirror bore.
