Description:
The Ruger 9E is a full-sized, striker-fired semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger (9x19mm). Introduced in 2014, it was designed as a "value-conscious" version of the popular Ruger SR9, offering the same core mechanical platform and reliability but with a simplified aesthetic and fewer specialized features. The 9E features a black oxide-finished alloy steel slide paired with a high-performance, glass-filled nylon frame. Includes a trigger safety, an ambidextrous manual thumb safety, and a magazine disconnect safety. While Ruger discontinued the 9E in 2017 to make room for the Ruger American and Security-9 lines, it remains a popular choice on the used market through retailers. 9mm Luger
