Description:
The Ruger LCR (Lightweight Compact Revolver) in 9mm Luger is a modern, small-frame revolver specifically engineered for concealed carry. It distinguishes itself from standard rimfire or .38 Special models by utilizing a reinforced 400-series stainless steel frame to manage the higher pressures of the 9mm cartridge. The 9mm model uses a blackened, high-strength stainless steel frame that supports the barrel and cylinder, providing greater durability than the aluminum frames used on lighter LCR variants. Features a patented trigger system with a specialized cam that results in a smooth, non-stacking trigger pull, making it easier to maintain a constant sight picture while firing. The lower portion of the frame is made of high-strength polymer to significantly reduce overall weight and house all fire control components in precise alignment. Because 9mm is a rimless cartridge, this revolver uses full moon clips to ensure positive ejection of spent casings and to act as a fast speed-loader. While it can fire without them, cases must be manually poked out of the cylinder. 9MM
