"Serial no. 17006b. Manufactured in 1943, chambered in 6.5x55 Swedish,25.5"" round barrel. The bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. Serial numbers are matching. This rifle was later upgraded to the m/42B configuration circa 1953–1956, incorporating improvements to the original Ljungman design for enhanced reliability. The AG m/42 represents Sweden’s early semi-automatic service rifle and served as the basis for later designs such as the Egyptian Hakim. The stock shows minimal handling impressions and remains in very good condition. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
