Description:
Don't miss out on this Colt Bisley Revolver chambered in .32 W.C.F. (.32-20 Winchester) with a 4.75" barrel is a distinctive target oriented variation of the Colt Single Action Army (SAA). Manufactured between 1894 and 1915, the Bisley was named after the famous British shooting range and designed to provide a more stable grip for competitive target shooting. Unlike the "plow handle" of a standard SAA, the Bisley features a longer, humped backstrap that curves inward at the bottom. This design forces the shooter's hand higher, helping to manage recoil more effectively and providing a more consistent target-style hold. It is equipped with a lower, wider hammer spur and a wider, more radically curved trigger. These modifications allow for easier cocking and a smoother trigger pull without shifting the shooting grip. The .32 W.C.F. was actually the most popular chambering for the Bisley Model, accounting for over 31% of the approximately 44,350 total produced. While not the rarest caliber, a 4.75" barrel in original, high-condition finish is highly sought after by collectors. .32 WCF
