"Serial no. 4743712. Manufactured circa 1953 by Harrington & Richardson Arms Company, chambered in .30-06 Springfield,24"" round barrel marked “NM * SA-FS-6585448 T 4 4 4211B." The bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. The rifle features National Match components including a front sight marked “NM/062,"and barrel marked “NM on the left side enhancing its precision characteristics. The bolt is marked “6528287-SA/A13," the receiver is stamped “D/6528291," and the operating rod is cut and marked “D35382 SA." The trigger guard is correctly marked “HRA." The stock has been refurbished and shows light handling marks while maintaining a clean overall appearance Harrington & Richardson-produced Garands represent post-WWII production with continued refinement of the M1 platform.
