This example remains mechanically sound, well balanced, and beautifully configured for bird shooting or sporting use. Includes a canvas & leather case.

Mechanically strong with proper lock up and correct function of ejectors, safety, and triggers. Barrels present an honest field worn finish consistent with age, with clean lines and good integrity. Action retains visible scroll engraving with a pleasing patina. Stock and forend show normal handling marks but remain structurally solid with sharp checkering.
E.M. Reilly & Co. was an established London maker known for building well-appointed sidelock and boxlock guns in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Their best sidelock ejectors offered London quality and aesthetics at a more accessible price point than the top three firms, and today they remain highly desirable among shooters who appreciate traditional English form and balance.
