It features a lightweight polymer frame paired with a durable stainless-steel slide and barrel, creating a robust yet easy-to-handle firearm. The SD40 VE is equipped with a 14-round capacity and comes with two magazines. The pistol includes Smith & Wesson‚s Self Defense Trigger (SDT), ensuring a consistent and optimal pull from the first round to the last. The white-dot dovetail front and rear sights enhance target acquisition, while the standard Picatinny-style rail allows for easy attachment of accessories. The ergonomic, textured grip includes a textured finger locator and aggressive front and back strap texturing for a secure hold. The slide features front and rear serrations for improved handling, and the distinctive two-tone finish gives the pistol a sleek, modern look. Additionally, magazines from current SD models are compatible with the SD VE series.
