Perazzi MT6
On offer is a nice Perazzi MT6 built in 1981 (AH Code) in good shape and ready for the clay ground.
The MT-6 was designed for the 1976 Montreal Olympics. The MX was designed for the Mexico City Olympics in '68 ergo MX-8. The innovation on the MT-6 was the first generation of factory choke tubes in a P gun. All MX series barrels can be easily fitted to the MT receiver. The major differences is that butt stocks are not interchangeable with the MX guns and the MT6 doesn't have a drop out trigger assembly. It has coil springs and is very similar to the current MX12. This has a crack in the stock near the forearm that has been professionally repaired. The screw in chokes are numbered 2 and 5 (IC and Mod). The lockup is tight with the barrels on the face. There is some discoloration but they are smooth and do not effect the operation of the gun. Some of the blue has worn off the barrels as happens with all Blued Perrazi’s that have seen some use.
This is a nice little gun ready for the clay field or as hunter for those that don’t want to take their MX2000S in the field or the rain.
