The R Guns TRR15 is a versatile modern sporting rifle built on the lightweight and modular AR-15 platform. Chambered in the widely compatible 5.56 NATO caliber (which also accepts .223 Remington), it features a 16-inch barrel that provides an ideal balance between maneuverability and ballistic performance at typical shooting distances. To enhance durability and resist corrosion, the barrel is often finished with a Black Nitride surface treatment and features a 1:9\" twist rate, making it effective for stabilizing common bullet weights like 55-grain and 62-grain projectiles. The rifle operates as a semi-automatic firearm, firing one round per trigger pull and utilizing a standard 30-round magazine capacity, though California-compliant \"featureless\" versions are available with restricted 10-round magazines and fixed stocks.
